Donald M. Rattner is an architect, educator and artist. He received a Bachelor's degree in art history from Columbia University and a Masters of Architecture from Princeton. Following graduation he joined Ferguson Murray Architects and eventually rose to partnership there before founding the Studio for Civil Architecture in 2002. In 2009 he launched an art studio at the firm and led the development of its inaugural portfolio.

Andrew C. Friedman is a registered architect with extensive experience in traditional and classical residential design. After graduating from Cooper Union with a Bachelors of Architecture, he worked with Thierry Despont, Eric Smith Architects and the designer David Easton, before becoming an associate at Ferguson Shamamian and Rattner. In 2002 he joined Donald Rattner in establishing the Studio for Civil Architecture.
